# Mirage

> Mirage is an AI agent that lives in your browser and reshapes any website's look, layout, and flow in plain English. Content is hyper-personalized; the interface never was. Mirage fixes that, so you get your version of the web, remembered forever.

Mirage is a Chrome extension today, expanding to every major browser next, on macOS, Windows, and Linux. You describe how you want a site to feel or function in a single sentence, and a state-of-the-art agent rebuilds the page live in your browser: layout, density, motion, color, and even keyboard shortcuts. The underlying site is untouched; only your version of it changes. Videos still play, links still work, you stay logged in.

## What Mirage does

- **Describe in plain English.** "Hide YouTube Shorts. Permanently." "Make Gmail keyboard-first." "Turn my inbox into a task list." The agent figures out the rest.
- **Reshape every layer.** Not themes or skins. Mirage rebuilds layout, restructures feeds, rewires navigation, and remaps shortcuts. The look is the easy part.
- **Persists forever.** Save a version to Gallery and it follows you across sessions and devices. Every time you open the site, it's already there.
- **Works on the page you're on.** Any site you browse in Chrome, including pages you're signed into. These are examples, not an allowlist.

## Sharing

- Mirage looks are shareable. One link and a friend can **adopt** your version of a site as-is, or **remix** it into their own.

## Your tools (userscripts and extensions)

- **Import** your existing userscripts in one click from Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey. They keep running, with nothing to copy or paste.
- **Remix** any script in plain English. Describe a tweak and Mirage rewrites it in place, and the change persists forever.
- **Rebuild** extensions. Miss what a browser extension did? Describe the behavior and Mirage rebuilds it natively in the page, so there is no add-on zoo to maintain.
- Honest framing: Mirage is an in-browser agent, not an extension store. It rebuilds page behavior from your description rather than importing extension binaries; anything that must live outside the page keeps working alongside it.
